Supported operating systems for MHFX
FOREXTrader (Java Platform):
Windows: 95OSR2, 98, ME, NT, 2000, and XP are all supported.
Macintosh: OS X (10.1 or higher)

· 128MB of RAM for Windows 98SE/ME; 256MB of RAM for Windows 2000/XP
Internet Connection:
· 56Kbps or Broadband
*AOL users: AOL users can connect to the Internet with AOL, but must use Internet Explorer v5.0 or higher to access

How do I clear the cache for Internet Explorer?
Exit out of the browser by closing all open Internet Explorer windows.
Click on "Start", then click on "Settings" (Windows 98/2000), then "Control Panel."
Click "Internet Options."
In the general tab section, click on "Delete Files" then "OK."
Then click "OK" to close the settings box.

I don't see anything when I click on the logon button?
If you click on the logon button and nothing appears, you may have pop up blocking software installed. The
MHFX trading platform launches itself into a new window, which some pop up blockers may identify as a popup. In order to view the trading platform, you will have to either disable your blocker software or add
MHFX to the list of sites your software will allow popups to originate from.
Sometimes a blocker may be installed without your knowledge. You may have to check your list of installed programs and see if there is a program listed that sounds like it could be a Popup Blocker. To do this, click on the "Start" button, then click on "Settings" on Windows 98/2000, then click on "Control Panel".
For Windows-XP, click "Start" and then "Control Panel". Double-click on the "Add/Remove Programs" icon, and it will bring up a list of the software on your computer.

I can't see my rates in the trading platform?
If you see no rates at the top of the trading platform, please try one
or more of the following steps, as applicable.
Before doing any of these steps, make sure you've closed out all previously open Internet Explorer windows, then open a new copy.
1) Check your Internet Security settings.
Your internet security settings may be set on "High" or "Custom Level" which is restricting you from receiving the rates.
In Internet Explorer, click on the "Tools" option at the top of the window, adjacent to your "Favorites". Click on "Internet Options". There is a tab labeled "Security", click on it. Then you should see a button labeled "Default Level". Click on that, then click on "Apply", and then "OK".
After you do this, try to log into the trading platform on our home page. You should see a window
to install and run "FX Rates."
Click on the "Yes" button to install our software, and then you should be able to see rates. If you do not get this
window, please continue onto step 2.
2) Install the Microsoft VM
The Microsoft VM is necessary to receive our rates, it is a software component that usually comes with Windows but sometimes is omitted.
(If you are receiving our rates, then you should already have it).
If you need to download and install it, click on this link:

Once clicking the link, you will be prompted by your browser to Save the
file. Click "Save" and select a location on your drive
(where you will easily be able to find it after the download) and click
"OK".
Depending on your Internet connection speed, the download will take from 1 to 10 minutes.
When the download completes, locate the saved file, and double-click on
it. You will be asked if you want to to install the software.
Click "Yes". You will then be prompted to restart your
machine after installation. If after restarting your computer, you still
are not getting rates, continue on to step 3.
3) Update your copy of Internet Explorer
Older copies of Internet Explorer have problems with our platform since it requires a high level of complexity to achieve interactive trading. This is a free download, and can be started by visiting here:
http://www.microsoft.com/ie
Click on the "Download Now" link in the center of the page.
This will be a long process, so you should allot about 1-2 hours of time for your machine to complete this process, followed by a restart. Then try to log into the trading platform from our homepage.
If you see the screen above, but still don't see rates, step 4 is the most likely answer.
4) Firewall Modification
If you see no rates at the top of the
trading platform, or receive an error message like "Connection Not
Available", you have a firewall that restricts traffic over certain
ports. Firewalls may cause connectivity issues, affect access to the
live rates, and charting on the platform. If a firewall is installed and
is blocking this information, you will need to modify its port settings.

instructions for adding the necessary port settings. Each includes
the specific ports that need to be added. Click on your firewall

If you are logging in from a corporate environment, this is most likely the reason you cannot see rates. Also, certain Internet Security programs have firewall functionality as well, and can be the cause of rates not being seen.
If it is determined that a firewall is blocking your traffic, contact your network administrator or software manufacturer and give them this information. They should be able to help you out.
Please note, we do not support operation behind a proxy at this time.

How many versions of MHFX's trading platform are available?
MHFX users have access to both a browser based version (Web Platform) and Java based version of the dealing platform. Both platforms offer you a secure and robust environment in which to trade and manage your account.
Our browser based trading platform - MHFX FOREXTrader.web
- may be accessed anytime and from anywhere with internet access,
so no download or installation is required.
MHFX FOREXTrader,
our Java based platform, requires a one time installation and provides tick by tick position management.
Both platforms track all trading activity, P&L and margin analysis and feature integrated charting tool, news and analysis one single screen.
Both our platforms currently offer access to the Nostradamus
neural network trading software (demo accounts require a free
14-day trial to access it). Nostradamus is Java based, and if
you wish to access it, you will need to have Java installed, regardless
which platform you use to trade.

How do I log into the trading platforms?
Look for the account login links at the top of the MHFX
Home Page. You have the option of using either the Java
or Web based platforms. Simply click the link for the platform you
wish to use. You also need to select the appropriate link (or
radio button for the Web based platform) to indicate whether you are
logging in Live or Demo mode. Note that if you use the Java
platform, you must have Java software installed (see instructions just
above).

The trading platform did not automatically launch in my browser?
After signing up for a demo account, the MHFX trading platform will automatically appear so you can get started trading right away. If you did not see it, you might have a pop up blocker installed. The
MHFX trading platform is launched into a new window, which some pop-up blockers
may prevent from launching. In order to view the trading platform, you will have to either disable your blocker software, or add
MHFX to the list of sites your software will allow pop-ups to originate
from if you have that option available.

If you have installed the 2004 Windows XP
update, which automatically installs a popup blocker on Internet
Explorer, go the menu bar and click Tools>Internet Options, select
the Privacy tab and uncheck the "Block pop-ups" box to disable
it while using our platform.
After checking for pop-up blocking, you can click the login links on our
home page to try logging into the platform again with the User ID and
Password you received in your email.
